WHO IS ESPE?

Espe is a Canadian family owned business located in Toronto, Ontario that has been operating for almost 20 years.  Espe prides itself on providing quality vegan products to a large number of North American cities and European countries. These unique Canadian designed handbags, wallets and phone pouches are exclusive to Snazzy Shop NZ. More information can be found here.

WHAT IS VEGAN LEATHER?

Vegan Leather (aka Polyurethane) is a man-made leather and not animal skin. Vegan Leather is becoming a popular choice of material to use for many fashion designers including Stella McCartney and Trelise Cooper.

There are many advantages to vegan leather including...

  • it is waterproof
  • doesn't need conditioning (like animal skin leather) to keep it moisturised
  • easier to clean as you only need a damp cloth or a little mild detergent to wipe it clean
  • doesn't crack or peel
  • soft & durable (looks and feels like real leather!)
  • can have unique designs created in it

If you love your product and look after it then it will look after you!

Please check our Product Care information (in Quick Links at bottom of page) for tips on how to best care for your products.

MISTURA TIMEPIECES

What battery does a Mistura watch use and is it replaceable?

Yes, Mistura watch batteries can be replaced and are easily available at the likes of Mitre 10, Bunnings, supermarket or jeweller.  The battery needed is a small  Energizer 377. Because of it's size we recommend you take the watch to a jewellery store to be replaced.

Snazzy Shop will provide you with a replacement battery with every purchase.

Is my watch water resistant?

Mistura timepieces are water resistant, but not waterproof due to the characteristics of natural materials such as wood and leather. Our watches can withstand perspiration and normal splashes of rain and water when washing hands. Swimming with your Mistura watch is not recommended. Contact with water should be minimised as much as possible.

On Floral watches, will flowers be exactly the same as shown on the website?

Immortalisation is a unique process that Mistura do to all the flowers in which they dehydrate the petals one by one to make them everlasting pieces of art. It takes approximately 2 weeks to be ready right before they assemble each dial. In some cases they add natural dye to make them bold. As the technique is very organic, we cannot guarantee the petals will look the exact same as the photo. This process is what makes this craftsmanship so unique, guaranteeing that your watch is one of a kind.

What is the warranty of the watch?

Two years from the date of purchase.

The Mistura warranty conditions are subject to material and handmade defects. Mistura timepieces are 90% natural and made by hand which means that any improper or abnormal use may cause damages to your Mistura watch and that will void your warranty automatically.

Please note the following circumstances are not covered under the warranty:

  • Water damage
  • Condensation
  • Crystal scratches
  • Normal wear of the strap (i.e. colour fading, texture)
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures

What materials do you use for your watches?

Mistura are committed to protecting the environment, which is why they use sustainably sourced materials that generate a positive impact on Earth. They use sustainably sourced fine woods, mostly from South America. The most frequently used woods are Pui, Ebony and Teak. Each of these fine woods requires a particular and specific technique for preservation and cutting. Our woods are aged for a period of six months to improve resilience and beauty. The straps are made of genuine leather, wood or stainless steel. Depending on the collection, they use other unconventional materials such as recycled denim, fabrics, recycled concrete or juice boxes and corian.
